Following an English degree at Oxford University, Naomi worked for various publishing houses, making her way up to Senior Editorial Manager and Commissioning Editor/Designer for Halsgrove, whilst writing magazine features in her spare time.
After a decade in publishing, Naomi competed in the Global Challenge round the world yacht race. This involved two years of training, fundraising £27k and an international media and PR campaign. Naomi won a Unisys media prize for her writing aboard BP Explorer and she was commissioned to write a commemorative book for BP.
Naomi then brought her skills together and moved into NHS communications, working for Exeter and Yeovil hospitals on in-house media, PR, graphic design and marketing.
Naomi set up her business in 2007 and since then has also become heavily involved in Exmoor The Country Magazine which she bought into in 2010 and which she now edits, designs and manages.
Naomi divides her spare time between dry land in and around her home in West Somerset and her beloved gig boats with Appledore Pilot Gig Racing Club, North Devon.
